Cebu Pacific has surpassed the ₱100-million mark for its inflight fundraising program, Change for Good, highlighting the airline’s commitment to supporting vulnerable children nationwide.
As of October 23, the Change for Good campaign has successfully collected ₱100,455,523.65. Launched in partnership with UNICEF in 2016, the initiative encourages passengers to donate spare change in any currency during flights. The collected funds are converted into essential services focusing on health, nutrition, education, and emergency relief for children across the country.
“Our partnership with UNICEF through Change for Good allows us to extend our mission beyond flying passengers—we’re contributing to meaningful change in the lives of children. Reaching the ₱100-million mark not only strengthens our commitment but also inspires us to continue supporting initiatives that build a better future for every Juan,” said Candice Iyog, CEB Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer.
Earlier this year, CEB renewed its partnership with UNICEF under the new Country Programme for Children, extending the campaign’s impact from 2024 to 2028. This agreement aims to expand the program’s reach, bringing crucial support to even more communities across the Philippines.
“Cebu Pacific is one of our valuable partners in upholding the rights of children in the Philippines,” said Behzad Noubary, UNICEF’s Deputy Representative to the Philippines. “Their commitment has created positive, lasting impacts in communities, and we are deeply thankful to all passengers who have contributed to this cause.”
CEB is the first and only airline partner of UNICEF in Southeast Asia for the Change for Good campaign. It is also the only carrier actively raising funds to support children in its home country.
