Recently, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) XI also issued a show cause order against the bus company, which was given three business days to respond. As of this writing, the management of Davao Metro Shuttle has not released a statement regarding the incident.

The victim was identified as Shienjilyn Bangcas from Purok 4, Bucana, Barangay 76-A, a student of Sta. Ana Elementary School.
