Buhangin police arrest Agusan town’s most wanted

THE BUHANGIN Police Station arrested a most wanted person at the municipal level in an operation conducted on Cabantian Road, Buhangin District around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1.

Captain Hazel Tuazon, spokesperson for the Davao City Police Office, identified him as Albert Urbiztondo Espiritu, 33, single, unemployed, and a resident of Purok 12, Poblacion Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.

According to the report, the warrant was served by the Buhangin Police Station (PS 5), led by Capt. Rule Dionela, under the direct supervision of Capt. Pio Teorrecampo, along with personnel from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Davao, PNP Drug Enforcement Group XI, 2nd Police Mobile Force Company, Agusan del Sur, and Prosperidad Municipal Police Station in Agusan del Sur. 

RTC X Branch 6 Executive Judge Emily Zen Y. Chua issued the arrest warrant dated Jan. 23, 2024,  sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165, under CC# 11127 and 11128. She also recommended a P200,000 bail bond for Sec. 11, Article II of RA 9165. Sec. 5, however, is a non-bailable offense.

The arrested individual is now in the custody of the Buhangin Police Station for proper disposition.
