Bringing back the magic in the cinemas

WATCHING in cinemas is definitely back. Recent blockbusters, both foreign and locally produced films, have once again driven movie-goers back to the theaters after suffering the brunt brought about by the pandemic that made them shift to streaming. Taking a cue from this phenomenon, NCCC Mall Buhangin re-showcased their world-class cinemas to Davao’s content creators with their recent “Experience Magic at the Cinemas” activity.

“Watching movies at NCCC Cinemas is truly an immersive experience especially since two out of the four cinemas are equipped with Dolby Atmos Technology, a first and only here in Mindanao,” shared event host Kaiser Boado.

Dolby Atmos, a surround sound technology developed by Dolby Laboratories, enhances existing sound systems by adding height channels, allowing sounds to be interpreted as three-dimensional objects with neither horizontal nor vertical limitations.

“Now, action and horror movies are more suspenseful and thrilling, exciting the senses of the audience with this state-of-the-art of technology,” he added.
