ASU road clearing operations 100% complete

The ANCILLARY Services Unit has reported a 100% accomplishment of its road clearing operation conducted in various streets from March 13 to 24.

During the iSpeak Media Forum on May 23, ASU head Paul Bermejo said the road clearing operations were conducted in Barangay 76-A, Barangay 5-A, Barangay 29-C, and Barangay 27-C.

Ang ginabuhat nato ana naga identified na daan og mga area kung asa pwede sudlon sa expanded road clearing team,” he said.

Bermejo also added that ASU is collaborating with the City Transport and Traffic Management Office to clear obstructions in July. The agencies will prioritize roads servicing densely populated areas.

However, Daang Patnubay, located in Barangay 76-A, still has reports of parked vehicles near the City Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office and Public Safety and Security Office building.

Daghan na ticket-an ang kuan ato ang CTTMO. Hantod gyud didto pasulod sa Sandawa nibalik na pud sa Patnubay didto sa opisina sa PSSO, sa CDRRMO,” Remejo said.

Dionisio Abude, chief of CTTMO, also said that after the roads are cleared, a certificate of turnover is to be given to the barangays as part of DILG’s memorandum circular “Barangay Road Clearing Operations” (BaRCO) to ensure roads are free from obstructions.

Pag na clear na siya, pareha anang 76-A, maghatag mi og certificate of turnover nga na clear na ni siya. So dapat ma maintain na nila,” Abude said.
