THE 10TH Infantry (Agila) Division received high praise from the Army Inspector General during the annual general inspection (AGI) held at Camp General Manuel T. Yan Sr. on July 22, 2024.

Major General Rommel Tello, the Philippine Army Inspector General, commended the Agila Division for its “exceptional contributions to sustainable peace and development,” citing it as a model for strategic initiatives within the Philippine Army.

During his address to the troops, Maj. Gen. Tello emphasized the importance of evaluating personnel and operational readiness to ensure the Army’s peak performance.

He also highlighted the significance of unity among soldiers in enhancing the effectiveness of military units.

Major Ruben Gadut, officer-in-charge of the 10th Infantry Division Public Affairs Office, noted that the AGI serves as a comprehensive evaluation of the division’s overall readiness and performance.

The inspection covers areas such as operational readiness, mission performance, resource management, leadership, morale, discipline, and law and order.

The findings from the AGI will be used to formulate recommendations for continuous improvement within the 10th Infantry Division.

The inspection is a testament to the Philippine Army’s commitment to maintaining high standards of accountability, discipline, and professionalism across all its units.
