Anflo Industrial Estate launches AIE Experience Center in Panabo City

THE ANFLO Industrial Estate (AIE) Experience Center officially opens for visitors and its locators to readily serve the needs of AIE and its community at Panabo City on September 26.

In its grand opening, Damosa Land Inc. president Ricardo “Cary” F. Lagdameo proudly delivered his opening remarks of AIE Experience Centers being the newest addition of AIE in enhancing the industrial park and a community center in providing services.

“It is open for everyone, even for our locators. This is a place that you can bring your guests, you can bring your customers, you can have your functions here as well,” Lagdameo said.

Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) economic zone manager Arnel M. Suyu also delivered his brief remarks on behalf of PEZA Director General Tereso O. Panga of AIE Experience Center serving as a dynamic platform to showcase cutting-edge technologies, sustainable practices, extensive opportunities offered by AIE.

“The launch of the AIE Experience Center is not just the opening of a new facility but also a fruition of Damosa Land’s commitment to building a forward-thinking industrial landscape,” Suyu said.

The AIE is the Philippines’ Premier Agro-Industrial Hub and a 63-hectare industrial Special Economic Zone registered by PEZA. It is located within Davao’s heavily agricultural region between Davao City and Tagum city.

AIE currently has 49 hectares of land already developed, 2.1 hectares of ready-built facilities (RBFs) developed, a total of 22 locators representing six countries, and 1,500 employment generated.

Updates of the industrial park include an additional 6.35 hectares of land proclaimed by PEZA, an ongoing construction of the 11,798-pallet capacity cold storage under the Glacier Megafridge Inc. and AC Logistics partnership (GMAC), and the completion of the HEAD Sports factory.
