Alleged drug dealer arrested.

AN ALLEGED drug pusher was arrested by elements of the Toril police in a buy-bust operation conducted along MacArthur Highway, in Barangay Toril Poblacion at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14.

Toril police chief Maj, Michael Uyanguren identified him as Joel Planco Suizo, 45, married, driver, and a resident of Daliao.

According to Uyanguren, the suspect was apprehended after the police buyer was able to purchase a sachet of alleged shabu from the suspect in exchange for P500. Confiscated from his possession were another two sachets of shabu, a touchscreen rose gold Oppo cellphone, and sling color green Samsonite bag.

The seized drug items had an estimated weight of more or less 1.95 grams with a street value of more or less P25,000. For now, the suspect was detained at Toril Police StationThe size items will be submitted to the Regional Crime Laboratory XI to confirmatory tests.

Meanwhile, a case for violation of R.A 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) is being prepared against the arrested suspect.
