This nail-biting victory keeps TOWEASTMIN’s perfect record intact at 2-0, solidifying their top spot in Bracket A of the tournament.
TOWEASTMIN started strong, building an 11-point lead early in the first quarter. However, NFEM fought back, narrowing the gap to 20-17 by the end of the first. The second quarter remained tight, and NFEM took the lead going into halftime, 36-33. NFEM extended their lead in the third quarter, but TOWEASTMIN stayed close, trailing by only three points at the end of the period, 55-52.
The final quarter was a tense back-and-forth affair, with both teams battling for the win. In the final minute, TOWEASTMIN hit a crucial three-pointer to take a 78-76 lead.
