This is to provide better services to its constituents, especially during emergency and disaster response.
The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office acquired 1 unit of rubber boat equipment; ram jack (1); engine duo pump (1); life detector device (1); spreader (1); 1 set hydraulic hose (blue) and one orange; 1 set double hose reel core; V struts (1); mobile high-pressure compressor (1); 120 pcs rescue helmets with headlamp and units each of fiberglass multipurpose ladder and portable power station.
- The City Engineer’s Office received four units of emergency response vehicles (pick-up type).
- The Bureau of Fire Protection–Davao City Fire District acquired four units of fire trucks and one incident command vehicle.
- The Coast Guard Station Davao received one pick-up truck and one patient transport vehicle.
- The Task Force Davao also acquired six mobile emergency vehicles and two pick-up vehicles.
- Two units of farm tractors were turned over to the City Agriculturist Office.
The units are currently undergoing further inspection, commissioning procedures, and ongoing payment processes before they are officially deployed for operational use.
Last December, the city also turned over 38 disaster and emergency response vehicles sourced from the Local DRRM Fund and the Annual Development Fund.
