AboitizPower Thermal Business Group in Mindanao held its first-ever scholars’ reunion on October 9, 2024, at Park Inn Radisson Davao. The event brought together 29 former scholars from communities supported by Therma Marine, Inc. Mobile 1 (Maco, Davao de Oro) and Mobile 2 (Nasipit, Agusan del Norte), and Therma South, Inc. (Davao City).
For years, these power generation sites have provided college scholarships to local residents, enabling them to pursue higher education and build brighter futures. The reunion offered an opportunity for these scholars to reconnect, share their journeys, and celebrate their collective achievements.
