“We are also ready with land for lease, land for sale, and we’re ready to help set up and assist them [locators] to make their business whether it’s international or domestic companies successful within the park,” said during the media forum on Wednesday, Feb 12.
The potential locators will be evaluated on their hectarage requirements and the type of facility to be constructed within AIE.
Presently, the 63-hectare industrial park has an 85% occupancy rate with 22 locators representing six countries, and 1,300 employees. Industries in the park include agro-processing, packaging, warehouse and storage, and manufacturing.
AIE currently hosts the HEAD Sports factory and the ongoing development of the 11,798-pallet capacity cold storage of the Glacier Megafridge Inc. and AC Logistics Partnership (GMAC).
Recently, AIE welcomed its new locator Thai Coconut Public Company Limited (COCOCO) with the signing of a memorandum of understanding on Feb. 11, 2025, for coconut milk production at the industrial park.
The facility can produce 155,000 tons of coconut milk per year to meet the global demand and will begin its operations by the first quarter of 2026.
