OUT OF the 75,016 Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries, 3,000 will be selected for the “Trabaho sa Bagong Pilipinas para sa 4Ps Job Fair” on Feb 15 at Tagum City Hall.
The Department of Labor XI (DOLE) and Employment XI collaborated with the Department of Social Welfare and Development XI (DSWD) to conduct the job fair for families who have graduated from the 4Ps program.
DOLE XI regional director Atty. Randolf Pensoy highlighted that this job fair will facilitate the employment of the beneficiaries.

As of now, the job fair has a total of 818 vacancies with nine local participating employers. The top five local job vacancies are customer service representatives, cashiers, financial advisors, inventory specialists, and forklift operators.
Among the five local job vacancies, customer service representatives have the biggest number of vacancies with 494.
Activities during the job fair will include Kadiwa ng Pangulo and a one-stop-shop of government services from Social Security Services (SSS), Pag-IBIG Fund, PhilHealth, and others.
Trabaho sa Bagong Pilipinas para sa 4Ps Job Fair is also scheduled to visit three locations in the Philippines namely at Region 1 in Luzon on Feb 11, Iloilo City on Feb 13, and Tagum City on Feb 15.
According to DOLE XI’s Labor Force Survey in Oct 2024, the employment rate was at 97.5% compared to 97.1% in Oct 2023. The underemployment rate was at 4.3% and the unemployment rate was at 2.5% with a labor force participation rate of 63.7%.
Additionally, the labor force in Oct 2024 was at 2,463 compared to the 2,394 in July 2024, and 2,415 in Oct 2023.
