AMBASSADOR Endo Kazuya attended the inauguration ceremony of Cebu Pacific Air’s new Chitose-Manila route on Jan. 16, 2025.
With this new service, Cebu Pacific customers will have a wider range of options for traveling between the Philippines and Japan, including Narita, Kansai, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and now, also Chitose.
In his remarks, Ambassador Endo expressed that the Japanese government is actively working with the Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT) to promote tourism and foster deeper cultural exchanges between our two countries.
Japan will cooperate in raising awareness among the Japanese people about the diverse attractions of the Philippines. This will encourage greater tourist visits and strengthen bilateral relations, which will enable the building of more meaningful connections between the people of Japan and the Philippines.
