THE OFFICE of the Vice Mayor recorded 3,862 beneficiaries for the “Serbisyong Medical All The Way” as of November this year.
The figure represented a 47.57% increase compared to the 2,617 beneficiaries logged for 2023. The “Serbisyong Medical All The Way” is the flagship project of Vice Mayor Atty. J. Melchor Quitain Jr.
The medical mission offers free consultation from licensed physicians, prescription medicine, and free vitamins and supplements for all ages. This is under the Health Agenda Advocacy, one of the priority advocacies of VMO under the Special Projects and Advocacy Division.
The project is not concentrated in one area as the office has been conducting localized or purok medical missions to the three districts “to respond to the needs of the grassroots communities.”
On top of the medical mission, the “Serbisyong Legal All The Way” is also being offered during medical missions in barangays, where 1,300 Davaoeños availed as of October.
VMO also offers free legal consultation every Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
