3,500 participants to join 2024 CEAP National Convention

THE CATHOLIC Education Association of the Philippines (CEAP) expects around 3,500 participants from private schools for its 2024 CEAP National Convention on Nov. 13-15 at the SMX Convention Center.

Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC) president Br. Noelvic H. Deloria said the convention focuses on its theme about pilgrims in Catholic schools being asked to be at the forefront of social transformation, and synodality through dialogue, sharing of conversations, and discernment.

“These are important elements that will be tackled during the convention. But it’s also a very good time where Catholic schools will come together and support one another for solidarity, and discuss issues that would affect different schools,” he said during Wednesday’s Media Forum.

She said the convention will tackle the private education situation in the Philippines, public-private partnership, 2025 Mid-term Elections, regulatory and policy environment, government support assistance, and climate change impact, and disaster preparedness.

Separately, Atty. Joseph Noel Estrada will share five legal hacks every Catholic educator should know in a session talk at HCDC on Nov. 12.
