GRAB Philippines donated 150 brand-new pushcarts to Francisco Bangoy International Airport as part of its continuous collaboration with the local government of Davao City, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, and the transport community.
The pushcarts augment the airport’s current fleet, accommodating the growing foot traffic at Francisco Bangoy International Airport.
This aims to improve the experience of travelers passing through this major gateway to the Davao Region and Mindanao, at large.
These were turned over on October 23 to the Davao City government represented by Vice Mayor Melchor B. Quitain (second from right) and Davao airport officials (L-R) Air Terminal Supervisor Mario Flores and Airport Officer-in-Charge Henry Sendan.
“Grab Philippines is continuously seeking ways to deepen its partnership with local government units and other transportation stakeholders as we jointly aim to elevate the experience of Filipino passengers. This initiative is geared at ensuring that travelers in Davao have a smooth and hassle-free journey – from the moment they land to the moment they reach their destination. We are optimistic that this collaborative effort with the local government and CAAP will effectively serve this goal.” said CJ Lacsican, Grab Philippines’ vice president for cities and business operations after the pushcart turnover event at the SangguniangP anlungsod.
