PDP forms alliance with 3 parties for 2025 mid-term elections

THE PARTIDO Demokratiko Pilipino (PDP) has announced a coalition with three political parties to strengthen its forces for the upcoming 2025 midterm elections. 

The formal declaration was made during the PDP National Assembly held at D’ Leonor Inland Resort, Davao City, on Sept. 20, 2024.

The PDP has joined forces with Partido para sa Demokratikong Reporma (Partido Reporma), Pederalismo ng Dugong Dakilang Samahan (PDDS), and Mayor Rodrigo Roa Duterte-National Executive Coordinating Committee (MRRD-NECC). Former Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) chairman Greco Belgica and former House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez attended the event representing PDDS.

Former President Rodrigo Duterte, the PDP chairman, also signed the agreement and represented MRRD-NECC.

An estimated 1,200 PDP officials and members from various parts of the country attended the event, according to PDP Secretary-General Atty. Aimee Torrefranca-Neri.
