THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) apprehended six individuals and seized an estimated P52,156 worth of shabu in five separate anti-drug operations on Aug. 3-4.
Acting city director Col. Hansel Marantan reaffirmed the office’s unwavering commitment to combating illegal drugs and ensuring the safety and security of Davao City residents.
With valuable information provided by vigilant community members, the DCPO successfully targeted drug personalities in Sta. Ana, Buhangin, Toril, Calinan, and Maa.
The breakdown of confiscated shabu per police station is as follows:
- PS1-Sta Ana: P7,752.00
- PS5-Buhangin: P35,768.00
- PS8-Toril: P748.00
- PS10-Calinan: P612.00
- PS16-Maa: P7,276.00
The DCPO expressed gratitude for the support of Barangay officials, the community, and the Local Government Unit in their shared fight against illegal drugs, recognizing their crucial role in creating a safer environment for all Davaoeños.
