“So basta naay demand sa ilahang produkto, padayon sila mag mugna ana. So ang ilahang community dili mawala,” she said.

Arao also said it will help preserve the Bagobo Tagabawa culture, for them to be recognized outside of Davao City, and to know the importance of the 11 tribes’ culture in celebrating Kadayawan.

She shared that they had begun working with the Bagobo Tagabawa last year. For this year, the partnership continued as the Bagobo Tagabawa expressed their interest to join again in the event.

Sa Rogen Inn, sa pagbutang og importansiya sa atong 11 tribes, it just so happened na si Bagobo Tagabawa ang interesado na mag showcase didto sa hotel,” she said.

This year’s collaboration will also extend their showcase to highlight more of their non-food products, cultural dance, and cuisine at the Rogen Inn which will run from Aug. 10 to 18.

In relation to the Kadayawan festival celebration, Rogen Inn will offer promos of 50% discount on their deluxe rooms.
