MINDANAO Traders Expo (MTEx) organizers urged traders to join the two-day event at the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) on July 25-26.
One of the MTEx organizers, Joseph Legard, told TIMES that the event was envisioned as a venue to promote networking, particularly for aspiring foreign exchange or stock market traders.
They invited professional speakers and successful entrepreneurs to share their knowledge and insights on how they succeeded in their respective industries. Some of the discussions will also tackle financial literacy, finding suitable investments, and how to avoid scams.
The event will feature and highlight real-life practitioners from various sectors such as the stock market, forex exchange, and cryptocurrency in Mindanao. They will also feature speakers from the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Unit and an NPC regional director to discuss how to combat scams and online scams in the digital world.
