A REGIONAL-LEVEL drug target was arrested in a joint operation by the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) XI in Barangay Ma-a on Sunday afternoon, July 7.
The suspect, identified as alias Laden, 23, was apprehended in Purok 26-A, Bypass Road, Ma-a, at approximately 3:17 p.m.
Captain Hazel Tuazon, spokesperson for the DCPO, confirmed that Alis Laden was a high-value individual on the regional drug watchlist.
Police seized a total of 11 grams of suspected shabu valued at P198,000, including the buy-bust item and additional sachets found in the suspect’s possession.
Authorities also recovered the buy-bust money, personal money, a cigarette pack, and a sling bag from alias Laden.
The operation involved personnel from the Ma-a Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit, the DCPO City Drug Enforcement Unit, the DCPO 1st CMFC, the 1105th MC, and the RMFB 11.
