SM City Davao brought the merriment closer to its loving Davao communities through a virtual Christmas ceremony
IT’S all about giving joy and cheer in SM Supermalls in Davao.
Both SM Lanang Premier and SM City Davao lit up its grand Christmas trees and installations last November 7 and 8 and brought the merriment closer to its loving Davao communities. The shows were broadcasted in Facebook and in Sky Cable Channel 53.
Performances by Davao’s homegrown talents built the excitement and lead up to the spectacle that is the ceremonial tree lighting.
These were made inspiring with holiday messaged delivered by SM’s management.
“Even if 2020 is a challenging year, we want to bring you joy – from beautiful Christmas tree centerpieces, to holiday discounts and new online shopping experiences – because in our malls and in your homes, SM wants to be a part of your Christmas joy,” said Mr. Oliver Tiu, SM Supermalls Mindanao Operations VP.
“This year’s Christmas may be far from how we imagined it to be but if we continue to help and uplift each other, we hope to bounce forward, stronger together,” said Engr. Jonathan Nick Santos, SM Supermalls Mindanao Regional Operations Manager.
SM Lanang Premier’s 55-feet tall indoor Christmas tree gleams brightly with adornments in red, white and gold and surrounded with gold geometric reindeers and larger than life gift boxes. SM City Davao’s playful take on the holiday is expressed through sweet candy cane arches, playful monochrome reindeers and an awe-inspiring tree decked in sparkling red and silver balls.
Some of the things to look forward to in SM this season include the #ShareHopeWithSM frontliner campaign, Bears of Joy, Christmas Markets and the 3-Day Sale.
