A 95-YEAR-OLD man was arrested after he shot his 53-year-old neighbor in Purok 26-B, Sitio Mayrin, Barangay Ma-a, on Wednesday night.
According to the Ma-a Police Station, alias Totoy was sitting on his parked motorcycle on the road in front of the suspect’s house, alias Josing.
The armed suspect approached the victim with his .38 caliber pistol and shot him once.
The victim sustained a gunshot wound on his back and is recovering in the hospital. Police arrested the suspect and confiscated the gun used in the crime.
According to the police, the motive for the crime was a personal grudge.
The suspect will be charged with frustrated murder and violation of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearm & Ammunition Regulation Act).
