Habib Pagilongon, City Social Welfare and Development Office senior social work associate, said the fuel subsidy is part of the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation program which his office is implementing with the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

“Naa pa’y coming na batch, ang kinahanglan lang muadto sa pinaka-duol nga CSWDO District Office and inform the workers nga gusto mo mag-join ani nga program,” said Pagilongon, adding that the cash distribution, which took place at the People’s Park, was for the first and second round.

Drivers were told to bring their original and photocopies of barangay certificate and valid identification cards.

Those who want to benefit from the program but have yet to apply, they can just send messages to the official Facebook account of the office at City Social Welfare and Development Office – Davao.
