THE POLICE Regional Office (PRO) XI arrested 77 fugitives in Davao Region as part of its intensified manhunt operations from Oct. 7 to 13, 2024.
Brig Gen Leon Victor Rosete, PRO XI regional director, said law enforcers successfully served 70 warrants of arrest that resulted in the arrest of 29 most wanted persons (MWP), including high-profile fugitives involved in serious crimes and belonging to the category of Top 10 Most Wanted Persons-Regional Level.
These high-profile fugitives were identified as Jegger Sugpatan, Top 1 MWP who was arrested for murder; Jimmy Dela Cerna Tagolaylay, Top 2 MWP arrested for violating R.A. 7610 (2 counts) and qualified rape (2 counts); Ruel Londres, Top 4 MWP and arrested for rape; Dieg E. Tano, Top 5 MWP arrested for statutory rape; and Angelito Dela Torre Aguidor, Top 6 MWP arrested for rape.
Rosete said the week-long operation was part of the PRO XI’s broader anti-criminality efforts of to apprehend criminals and bring justice to the victims.
