SIX INDIVIDUALS were arrested after they were caught for cockfighting in Garcia Heights, Barangay 19-B on Sunday.
Maj. Jack Tilcag, the commander of San Pedro Police Station, identified them as Jose Simbolas Estal, 51, married; Wilfredo Ruiz, 53, married; Peter Elenita Ahabagat, 42, single; Ronick Mino, 31, single; Ramil Lachia, 44, married, and a 30-year-old man, all residents of Purok 4, Garcia Heights.
Also seized from them were the two game fowls and the bet money worth P900. The suspects are now under the custody of the San Pedro Police Station.
Davao City has banned all cockfighting activities in the city following the superspreader derby event in March this year.
