Elements of the Talomo Police Station arrested five persons during in two separate operations Thursday.
Lt Col. Ronald Lao, commander of the station, said four of those arrested were Richard Jabagat Cahayag, 31; Daryl Capellan Magale, 31, tricycle driver; Janet Gerodiaz Magale, 34; and Kara Carina Ebrano Muñez, 23, single. at Purok 4, Nalum, Brgy Baliok, Talomo District Thursday afternoon.
Also arrested in a separation operation was Joseph Asuncion Florendo, 24, married, jobless and a resident of 477 Alley, Malvar 7-A. He allegedly yielded two grams of shabu with a street value of P32,000.
Lao, also the Regional Drug Enforcement chief, said Cahayag was included in the watchlist of the Directorate for Intelligence.
The police report said a barangay official and a representative of the media witnessed the arrest of the four who yielded about 11 grams of shabu with a market value of P200,000,
Lao said the operation was part of the order of Police Director General ARchie Gamboa to intensify the campaign against illegal drugs.
