4th ID sharpens soldiers’ skills with restructured re-enlistment training

THE 4TH INFANTRY (Diamond) Division of the Philippine Army boosted the operational readiness of 169 soldiers through its Restructured Re-enlistment Training (RRT) program.

The RRT is a vital refresher course for soldiers, allowing them to review essential combat skills and stay updated on current Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) policies and procedures.

This training ensures they can perform their duties effectively as the organization works toward becoming a world-class Army and a source of national pride.

A total of 169 enlisted personnel from 4ID completed the training, while another 154 are set to undergo the 45-day mandatory training.

This is a prerequisite for re-enlistment into the regular force of the AFP, which consists of active-duty soldiers with long-term service commitments.

Lt. Col. Manuel B. Estanilla, Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil-Military Operations (OG7), graced the Joint Closing and Opening Ceremony for Batch 07 and 08-2024, held at the 4ID Grandstand, Camp Evangelista, on Oct. 18.

In a statement, Lt. Col. Estanilla conveyed the message of 4ID Commander Major General Jose Maria R. Cuerpo II, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and adaptation in military operations.

“I commend all the soldiers who have dedicated their time and effort to complete this rigorous training program,” Lt. Col. Estanilla said.

“Your commitment not only enhances your capabilities but also strengthens our collective readiness towards our common goals,” he added.
