DAVAO Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct a 30-minute emergency power interruption on January 9, Sunday, anytime between 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. affecting customers in the northern part of Davao City.
This service disruption will be necessary to facilitate emergency repair works of Davao Light Panacan Substation power transformer.
Specifically affected are customers along Diversion Road from Panacan Cemetery to Juana’s Kubo North, and neighboring areas as well as customers from Panacan Cemetery to Malagamot Road and nearby areas. Also affected are customers from Km 9 Sasa near Bangoy Bridge to DPWH Panacan, and neighboring areas. This will also be experienced by customers from Sumifru Tibungco to Unifrutti Panacan and nearby environs.
Customers from Comus Grill Mamay Road to Floor Center Buhangin, and neighboring areas as well customers along Diversion Road Buhangin from crossing Mamay Road to Silangan Buhangin Branch, and neighboring areas will also experience this emergency disruption.
Also affected are customers from Diho Subdivision Phase 1 to Gaisano Grand City Gate, including Holy Child Cabantian and neighboring areas.
Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by this emergency power interruption. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
