Davao City Police swiftly apprehended three suspects within two minutes of an alleged stabbing incident in front of Big Hero’s Establishment on F. Torres St., Barangay 11-B, around 3:58 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13.
The suspects were identified as: Alias Rammil, 33, a street dweller from Torres St., Barangay 19-B; Alias Warren, 37, also from Torres St., Barangay 19-B, and Alias David, 32, a laborer from Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur
The quick response by Police Station 2 San Pedro, under Acting Station Commander Major Emmanuel Manlatican and the Mobile Patrol Unit led by Major Merlito Tubog, resulted in the arrests around 4 p.m.
The victim, who sustained a neck wound from a pair of scissors and a barbecue stick, was immediately rushed to the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC).
The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) credits this rapid response to the 3-Minute Response Time (MRT) program initiated by Police Regional Office 11 Regional Director Brigadier General Nicolas Torre III.
