THE CITY government identified Barangays 13-B, 16-B and 34-D as high risk for COVID-19 for this week.
In the same classification matrix, 11 more barangays were classified as moderate risk for the week. These barangays are 7-A, 9-A, 10-A, 11-B, 18-B, 19-B, 20-B, 25-C, 27-C, 28-C, 32-D, 33-D, 38-D, A. Angliongto, Sr., Agdao Proper, Baracatan, Buhangin Proper, Matina Crossing, Mintal, Ubalde, and V. Hizon, Sr.
This developed as the city government has continued to call on residents to follow minimum public health standards and have themselves vaccinated against the virus.
Dr. Michelle Schlosser, COVID-19 Task Force spokesperson, said that last week, the city logged 105 cases with a positivity rate of 14%, the highest since March.
Schlosser caled on residents to do their part in controlling the spread of the virus even as the city is holding the Kadayawan sa Davao in an in-person mode, the first since the pandemic hit the world in March 2020.
