2GO EXPRESS Forwarding announced on Wednesday that it will formally launch its Davao to Cebu route on June 3 to boost tourism, trade, and maritime transport in Visayas and Mindanao.
“Whether it’s passengers or cargo, we can actually load via 2GO going to Cebu. So, that makes our trade and even our tourism, whether it’s business or family,” Teena Alconcel, 2GO Express Forwarding head of business development-VisMin said on May 21.
The route began last January 2025, and the connectivity operates on Monday and Tuesday weekly, departing at six or eight in the evening.
Last year, 2GO also launched the Davao to Iloilo route. The company also has direct routes such as Cagayan to Bacolod and Batangas to Caticlan.
“2GO is also increasing its visits for Visayas and Mindanao, specifically, also for the interports, so that we are able to help the trade within the interconnectivity,” she said.
Alconcel also said that 2GO will open more maritime routes in the future, with no specific routes to be opened anytime soon.
