19 nabbed in Kalinaw

Nineteen fugitives were arrested by authorities during the conduct of Oplan: Kalinaw on Thursday morning.

Davao City Police Office (DCPO) Director Sr. Supt. Alexander Tagum said the series of operations also resulted in the identity check and profiling of 1,209 residents, including 24 persons who have no valid identification cards

Those arrested individuals have pending warrants of arrest.

Tagum identified them as Alim Hamsael Jumdaine (murder), Golbe Camad Bansilan (murder), George Año Roble (illegal gambling), Michael Abarca Elarcosa (direct assault), Robelyn Ostria Gocotano (grave slander), Nicky Tanudra (robbery in an inhabited house), Jeremie Casupot (illegal drugs), Roselle Cabaco Conchas (qualified theft), Jemark Panero Diongco (slight physical injuries), Rodolfo Adolfo Ramirez (theft), Rolando Cervantes Hermoso (illegal gambling),  Gemma Dalisay Cabrera (illegal gambling), Marjan Jimlani Intos (child abuse), Archie Nasi Apollo (qualified statutory rape), King Aladin Jay Zabala Bantaculo (illegal sale of volatile substance to minor), Dino Gultiano Gasco (qualified theft), Lagura Roxanne Crandang (qualified theft), Kevin Rivero (malicious mischief), and Johnmar Lasaca (estafa).

The operations were conducted in the police areas of Sta. Ana (Bo.Obrero, Barangay 17-B); San Pedro (San Rafael, Brgy 9-A ); Talomo (Km.11, Barangay Catalunan Pequeño); Sasa (Malagamot, Brgy Panacan); Buhangin (Purok Santiago, Brgy Indangan); Bunawan (Kabayan Relocation, Brgy Tibungco); Paquibato (Prk Orchids, Barangay Paquibato Proper); Toril (Purok 7, Brgy. Alambre); Tugbok (Deca Homes, Brgy Mintal); Calinan (Brgy. Biao Joaquin); Baguio (Purok Banta-Ao, Brgy Tambobong); and Marilog (Sitio Patag, Brgy. Datu Salumay)

Aiding the DCPO on the weekly operation are the Task Force Davao, Philippine Coast Guard, Regional Mobile Unit, National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA), Bureau of Fire and Protection, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Regional Intelligence Unit, 44th Special Action Company, and City Health Office of Davao.
