THE COMMISSION on Elections (Comelec) has already started the three-day local absentee voting for the 1,680 personnel of Davao Police Regional Office at its headquarters in Camp Sgt. Quintin M Merecido, Buhangin district on Wednesday.

PRO XI director Benjamin Silo Jr. said the three-day local absentee voting, which ends on April 29, will cater to the 1,680 personnel from the regional office, along with various National Support Units (NSU) and National Operational Support Units (NOSU).

Silo said the exercise will allow those PNP officers rendering service on election day to also cast their votes.

“Thus, the PRO 11 extends its gratitude to the Comelec for the usual partnership and collaboration,” he said.
