FIFTEEN speakers from Davao and beyond are set to join and share their insights on their different specialized industries on August 21, 2024, from 10 am to 6 pm in line with the Kadayawan Festival.
The TEDx Lanang is an independently organized event and an official Kadayawan partner that aims to share ideas on different industries in the scope of Mindanao and worldwide.
On the Habi at Kape on Wednesday, August 7, the TEDx Lanang Ave co-organizer, Nero Tajan introduced their multi-disciplinary speakers that will grace the event with the theme, “Celebrating Life and Progress.”
These fifteen speakers are Chelsea Manalo, the Miss Universe Philippines 2024, Chito Samontina, Asia’s Best Bisaya Talk, Dr. Allan Botuyan, Structural Engineer, Emi Englis, Fashion Designer and DFDC President, Jan Ocampo, Finance, Karla Singson, Award-winning Writer, Public Speaker, and Entrepreneur, Kublai Millan, Filipino Painter, Sculptor, Curator, and Cultural Mover, Larra Lasam, Advocate for Authentic Beauty, Libhi Fortuna, Transformational Life Coach, M1ss Jade So, Filipina Drag Queen, Artist, Performer, Maan Chua, Davao’s Icon for Mindanaoan Music, Nicole Ledesma, COO, Joji Ilagan International Schools, Data President, Patrick Co, Chef, Entrepreneur, Tastemaker, Pauline Amelinckx, Miss Supranational 2023, 1st tunner-up, Rem Lampa, Podcaster, Web Developer, Speaker, and Tech Community Leader.
The event will host up to 500 individuals who are expected to be a mix of students, professionals, and entrepreneurs.
Tickets are at P2,999 and are on sale until Aug. 20, 2024, at P2,599 while a starter pass is at P1,799 for more student-friendly access to the event and P999 for a virtual pass to cater to those who want to attend but cannot make it to the City.
The inclusions of the tickets include full merchandise of T-shirt, ID lanyard, stickers, and etc with free lunch and snacks at the event.
The TEDx Lanang Avenue is the Largest TEDx Event in the Philippines and is the first time here in Davao City since 2012 when the last TEDx Event was held at Ateneo de Davao University. It has since departed to the school’s held venue concept that it had for years.
