THE POLICE Regional Office (PRO) XI seized over ₱6 million worth of illegal drugs between April 7 and 13, 2025.

During this week-long period, police units collared 106 suspects in 88 anti-drug operations. Of the arrested, 26 were identified as high-value individuals and 80 as street-level suspects.

These operations included buy-busts, checkpoints, and the execution of arrest and search warrants.

Authorities seized 886.0602 grams of shabu (methamphetamine), with an estimated street value of ₱6,025,209.36.

Additionally, police also confiscated 19.904 grams of dried marijuana leaves, valued at ₱2,388.48, and uprooted 11 marijuana plants worth approximately ₱2,200.00.

The total estimated value of the illegal drugs seized during the week amounted to ₱6,029,797.84.

The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) recorded the highest number of operations with 37, followed by the Davao del Norte and Davao Oriental provincial police offices.

In light of these accomplishments, Brigadier General Leon Victor Rosete, the PRO XI regional director, said these results underscored their persistent efforts to shield communities from the dangers of illegal drugs.

He stated that these actions aligned with the directives of the chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), General Rommel Francisco Marbil.

“We will continue to pursue drug personalities at all levels. Our message is clear: there is no place for illegal drugs in our region,” Rosete said.

The PRO XI encouraged the public to remain vigilant and actively participate by reporting any suspicious activities and supporting the government’s ongoing anti-drug campaign.
