Why consider having a long wallet?

LONG wallets keep your cash flat and clean.

With its practicality, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) recently encouraged Filipinos to consider having long wallets instead of folding and placing cash in coin purses especially for the newly-introduced polymer bills.

“One thing to adjust is to have wallets or purses that prevent it from being totally folded,” says BSP Governor Felipe Medalla in a news report.

The central bank shares in its website that while polymer bills may be tough, “these banknotes also need to be valued and handled with care.” Thus, polymer bills should not be crumpled, cut, stapled, defaced, ironed, exposed near an open flame or corrosive chemicals, and excessively folded.

The BSP plans to widely circulate the new P1,000 polymer banknotes in Davao by October.

To prevent from damaging the new banknotes, consider having a long wallet now.

Long wallets are designed to keep the bills perfectly smooth and flat. It has also multiple card slots and coin purse to keep all monetary-related essentials in one item.
