VICE President Sara Z. Duterte showed her unwavering support for her father, former President Rodrigo Duterte, by attending the House quad committee hearing on Wednesday, Nov. 13 on the alleged human rights violations tied to his administration’s war on drugs.
Her presence sent a strong message of solidarity, underscoring the Duterte family’s commitment to safeguarding our communities and fighting against the scourge of illegal drugs.
In a statement, Hugpong sa Tawong Lungsod (HTLP) said it stands strong in support of FPRRD’s legacy, defending his decisive leadership that prioritized the safety and well-being of every Filipino.
“We remain united in honoring a president who put the country’s security first,” it added.
The vice president made a surprise appearance Wednesday at the quad committee hearing, joining her father, former president Rodrigo Duterte, who for the first time attended the investigation into his administration’s drug war.
