Vendors assured | Disruption  is only for Sara’s inauguration

THE Auxiliary Services Unit has assured vendors who will get affected by the inauguration of incoming Vice President Sara Duterte that the disruption on their livelihood activities would only last during the period intended for the event.

Paul Bermejo made the assurance when eh and the vendors met thresh out the issue after the latter complained that they might lose their livelihood after the event.

Bermejo also urged them to find other places during the weekend as the inauguration of the outgoing mayor is taking place on Sunday.

“Wala sila ginabawalan maninda. Mao lang na; ako lang ginaklaro na siya. Pero kadtong duol na sa stage, labi na ning naa sa may Unitop og Banco Filipino, ato ning ipasara temporarily hangtod lang mahuman ang oath-taking ni Mayor Inday. Or pwede man sila mubalhin sa ubang area,” he said.

Vendors near the vicinity of San Pedro Square have been ordered to stop selling during the weekend, but some of them thought that the order would result in them being stopped from continuing their activities.
