Tour packages await MiceCon delegates

ORGANIZERS OF THE Meeting, Incentive Travel, Convention and Exposition Conference (MiceCon) next month have mapped out the exciting tours for those attending the event.

The delegates will have the chance to explore the destinations in the Davao Region during the three-day event which opens on March 1.

Travel agents of the city have prepared packages that will allow visitors to know the rich history of the key destinations in the city and nearby areas.

Included in the packages are Peoples Park, the city hall, key thoroughfares, San Pedro Church, Magsaysay Park, Lola Abon’s Davao Delicacies, Poblacion Market Central, and the city library.

Another option will be for those who want to buy souvenirs and they will be brought to Poblacion Market Central, the Alcantara-owned shopping center which replaced the iconic Aldevinco, as well as the fruit markets of the city.

Another option is for visitors to visit eco-tourism sites like two of the city’s prime eco-tourism sites – Eden Nature Nature Park and Resort in Toril or the Malagos Garden Resort.

Other tour packages will be offered after the event and these will bring the visitors to other destinations in other areas of the region like Davao de Oro where they will be able to visit the Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation REsort, considered a world-class tourist haven in the province.

Others can visit Panabo City in Davao del Norte where the Floirendo-owned mixed-use project Agriya is located They will also proceed to other destinations in the province, the Hijos Resorts Davao and the Tagum City Historical Cultural Center, all located in the provincial capital, Tagum City.

They will also be brought to Kapatagan, known for its cold climate and is located in Digos City, the capital of Davao del Sur.

In Davao Oriental, visitors will be brought to the Mt. Hamiguitan Natural Science Museum, Kagan Cafe, El Don Resort, and Cape San Agustin.
