FOUR INDIVIDUALS, including three high-value targets, were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted in Nakada village, at 5:05 a.m. on Monday, May 6.
Captain Hazel Tuazon, the spokesperson of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO), identified the suspects as couple 36-year-old Oliver and 39-year-old Mariel, both virtual assistants, along with aliases Jef, 36, driver, and alias Pre, 38, laborer.
Oliver was a top 1 city-level target, Jef was a top 2 city-level target, while Pre was top 4 city-level target.
The Sasa Police Station seized from their possession 42.26 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P 287,368.
DCPO chief Col Richard Bad-ang attributed the successful operation to the invaluable help of the community, particularly barangay officials.
“As a united community, we believe that we will be able to attain a peaceful and orderly Davao City free from the harmful substance,” he added.
For now, the suspects are under custody of Sasa Police Station for the appropriate case for violation of Republic Act of 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
