A THREE-VEHICLE crash along the Davao-Bukidnon Road in Barangay Catalunan Pequeño left one person injured and caused significant property damage on Thursday morning, July 4.
The incident occurred around 10 a.m. when a Suzuki pickup truck, driven by Wenino Tan, 34, collided with an Isuzu truck driven by Edgardo Suarez Alforque, 68.
According to witnesses, Tan’s vehicle was in the middle lane heading toward Ulas while Alforque’s truck was in the inner lane.
The initial impact caused Tan’s vehicle to veer into the opposite lane, where collided with a Mitsubishi wagon driven by Nestle Miranda Salazar, 31, who was traveling south toward Mintal.
Thiela Villanueva, 35, a passenger in Tan’s vehicle, sustained injuries and was rushed to Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) by the Mintal Rescue Mobile. The extent of her injuries is currently unknown.
Both Alforque and Salazar were taken to the police station for further investigation.
