THE TALOMO Police Station and the 1st City Mobile Force Company handcuffed an 18-year-old grade 8 student during a buy-bust operation conducted at Ecoland Times Beach at 1:14 a.m. on Saturday, April 6.
Major Rosario Aguilar, Talomo Police Station chief, withheld the suspect’s full name since he is a student.
Authorities reportedly seized a package of suspected shabu from “Boss” during the operation.
He is currently detained at the Talomo Police Station and faces a charge of violating Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
“Illegal drugs pose a threat to people of all ages,” said Aguilar. “We urge parents to be vigilant and monitor their children’s activities to prevent them from getting involved in drug use.”
