Target busted

  • Police seize over P1.3-M in alleged shabu 

AUTHORITIES reportedly confiscated suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P1,328,000 from a high-value target along 6th Street, Ecoland Subdivision, Barangay 76-A, around 8:35 p.m. on April 23.

The operation, conducted by personnel of Ecoland Police Station 15 (PS 15) under PDEA Coordination, took place at 6th Street.

The Ecoland Police Station identified the suspect as alias Bai, a 28-year-old tricycle driver residing in Purok 12, St. John, Barangay 76-A.

During the buy-bust operation, conducted with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency XI, authorities seized one heat-sealed sachet (P53,600), two plastic packs (P880,000), and three heat-sealed sachets (P141,400).

They also recovered one genuine 500 peso bill and nine printed P1,000 bills used as buy-bust money, two P100 bills, a cal. 38 pistol with three live ammunition, an Android phone, a green sling bag, an ignition key, and a Honda tricycle.

Alias Bai will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
