‘Snatch me’

A FEMALE employee of J&T and her partner will face charges after Talomo police successfully thwarted their planned snatching incident on Monday, Nov. 11.

According to the report, at approximately 7:05 p.m., alias Ana, 35, single, and employed as a finance in-charge at J&T, personally reported to the station, claiming to be the victim of a snatching incident.

She alleged that suspects on a motorcycle stole ₱515,379.86 from her in front of Palawan Pawnshop along Matina Aplaya Road.

Immediately, intelligence operatives interviewed witnesses, reviewed available surveillance footage, and theorized that the finance officer orchestrated the entire scenario.

The woman later confided that the incident had been staged by her lesbian partner, alias Lisa, a former J&T employee, and her partner’s younger brother, alias Ken (still at large), to mislead authorities and conceal their involvement.

The stolen cash, amounting to ₱445,928, was subsequently surrendered to the investigators. The suspects are now in custody, and charges of qualified theft have been prepared for filing.

The police also stated that the investigation remains active as they work to identify further details or potential accomplices.

“This case highlights the effectiveness of our investigative processes and the importance of vigilance in protecting public safety,” said Major Genesis Oriel, commander of the Talomo Police Station.
