Davao City – Rovers Football Club extended their win streak to three after beating Crocs Pangil, 1-0 in the ongoing 2nd Sparcorp Grassroots eight-a-side Football Cup played at the Azuela Cove football grounds.
Rovers Football Club currently leads the Under 13 division with 3-0 win-loss card and had that feat duplicated in the Under 9 category.
Trailing behind Rover FC in the Under 9 are South Shield FC and Crocs Pangil at second with similar 2-1 cards, followed by Rizal Memorial Colleges FC and Nikkie Jin Kai at third with 1-2. Crocs Lolong is at the cellar with 0-3.
Games will resume on August 3 and 4 at the same venue, organizers said.
