PROTEST rallies in support of former President Rodrigo Duterte continue in the country following his arrest on March 11, 2025, and subsequent detention at the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands.

In Davao City, Davaoeños are now on their third day of rallying at Rizal Park (March 13, 2025). Similarly, supporters gathered for a prayer rally at the Mandaue City Heritage Plaza.

Following Duterte’s arrest and transport to The Hague to face hearings regarding his “War on Drugs,” numerous rallies have taken place throughout Mindanao, including in Cagayan de Oro, Cotabato, Iloilo, General Santos City, Bukidnon, Iligan, Tagum, Koronadal, Kidapawan, and Midsayap.

Protests have also been reported in Manila (Quirino Grandstand), Bansalan, Digos, Bongao (Tawi-Tawi), Panabo City, Marawi City (Ground Zero), Bislig City, Jolo, Angeles City (Pampanga), Cebu City, Pagadian, Misamis Oriental, Tacurong, and Isulan (Sultan Kudarat).

These locations were identified through research conducted by TIMES Research.

Furthermore, former Maranao Deputy Mayor Randy Usman announced a planned “massive rally” at Liwasang Bonifacio in Manila on March 15, 2025, calling for President Marcos Jr.’s resignation.

Online and among overseas Filipino workers, calls for Duterte’s return to the Philippines continue to circulate.
