THE POLICE Regional Office 11 (PRO XI) reported the arrest of a high-value drug target in a successful anti-illegal drug operation conducted in Tagum City on July 13.
Police only identified him as alias Dadang.
The operation at a local inn in Barangay Mankilam resulted in the seizure of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P3.4 million.
The sting was a joint effort by various law enforcement units, including the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit XI, Station DEU Tagum City Police Office, 1st Davao Norte Police Mobile Force Company, Special Operation Unit PNP Maritime Group, and 1102nd Company Regional Mobile Force Battalion 11, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency XI (PDEA XI).
“This successful operation underscores our commitment to ridding the Davao Region of illegal drugs,” PRO XI director Brig Gen Nicolas Torre said.
“We will continue to conduct rigorous anti-drug operations in collaboration with our partner agencies,” he added.
