THE BAJADA Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) arrested a high-value target in a sting operation in Purok San Vicente, Barangay Buhangin Proper at 11:50 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7.
Meanwhile, the police seized nearly half a million worth of shabu during the operation.
Captain Hazel Tuazon, the spokesperson of the Davao City Police Office, identified him as alias Arvin, 47, a fruit vendor and a resident of Purok San Vicente, Barangay Buhangin Proper.
Tuazon said Arvin was considered a priority top city-level target and the seized illegal drugs were estimated to reach P498,916.
The suspect is now under the custody of the Bajada Police Station, facing a charge for violating Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
